I dropped a new selection of very nice wax last evening. That's the 5th part of the Mid 90's flava series.

Djenné - Mali

On our way to the Dogon country. We made a stop and spent a day in Djenné. Amazing city with one of the biggest mosque of West Africa and a huge market which stands every monday.

To illustrate this post, the golden voice of Africa: Afro-pop singer Salif Keita who release one of the best african love song on the Lp Moffou (Universal Jazz) in 2002.

The track features Cesaria Evoria and is called Yamore. Enjoy!

Hip Hop Culture #4

Before any rivalry between east and west destroyed or divided the hip hop community, there was time when the coasts actually respected and admired what the other did. Ice Cube's Amerikkka 's most wanted brings together the attitude of the West Coast with the layered, chaotic sound of the East Coast 's Bomb Squad.
Andre Torres-Waxpoetic #41

It comes from my private wax collec, this Lp was issued in Germany for European fans.
